『一』英文日記
日記常用來記述自己一天生活中發生的有意義或重要的事，用來抒發自己當天對某些事的感受以及自己未來的打算。

日記一般要求寫清日期及天氣。年、月、日和星期寫在第一行的左上角，天氣寫在日記第一行的右上角。如要強調寫日記的`地點，則可將地點寫在日期的后面。
在第三行空兩格開始寫日記的正文，一般寫日記直接切入主題。
考試時的提示日記則要抓住要點，意思清楚，表達流暢，人稱多用第一人稱i或we,時態則用過去時、現在完成時或用一般現在時。

『二』英文日記
我今年五年級，一直以來根本對英文毫無興趣。直到我遇見一位專門教英文的老師，才使我對英文產生了濃厚的興趣。這位英文老師是我五年級的老師。我們都叫他Sir，或是張老師。Sir的年紀有點大，看起來六十歲或七十歲。
很多老師說Sir是學校的老臣子，經驗豐富，在學校服務多年，讓他教我們英文真是三生有幸。Sir很嚴肅，不平易近人，就因為這樣很少同學愿意聽他的課和很少老師和他談話。每當在上英文課時，同學們似乎把Sir當作是“透明人”一樣當作他不存在，你說你的，我說我的。
我是班長，每個星期三我都得去辦公室把功課交給老師。我看見老師們都有說有笑，唯有Sir獨自一人看英文書，讓感覺我好心酸。
老師們日盼已久的教師節終于來臨了！老師們穿得漂漂亮亮的來學校。表演已開始了，我望來望去都看不到Sir的蹤影。我感到好奇怪呀，全校的老師都下來了，怎么沒看到Sir呢？我去到辦公室順道把教師節禮物放在曾經努力教過我的老師的桌位上。我無意中看見Sir在他的桌位上批改我們的作業，我感到很奇怪。我向前去問Sir再送Sir禮物。Sir的桌上沒有一份禮物，我想沒同學送Sir禮物。
我問Sir：“Sir，為何不下去看表演呢？”Sir說：“我昨天去洗腎，還沒改你們的作業，而且考試即將來臨，我擔心你們趕不上，我必須趕快改好，讓你們回家溫習?！蔽腋袆拥醚蹨I快從眼眶涌出來了。我立即收回眼淚，忍住。我和Sir說：“那您趕快改好，趕快下來。”Sir只說：“嗯”。

我和爸爸媽媽拎著從魚塘里釣到的魚回到家里。媽媽說：“兒子，你幫我拿菜刀，我來刮魚鱗。”
我麻利地從灶臺上取來菜刀，遞給了媽媽。
看著媽媽熟練地刮起草魚的魚鱗，我不禁也躍躍欲試，請求道：“媽媽，我能學習刮魚鱗嗎?”

媽媽點點頭，把菜刀遞給了我。

in south china, the favorite and most typical dishes were nian gao, sweet steamed glutinous rice(糯米)pudding and zong zi (glutinous rice wrapped up in reed(蘆葦)leaves), another popular delicacy.
in the north, steamed-wheat bread (man tou) and small meat dumplings were the preferred food. the tremendous amount of food prepared at this time was meant to symbolize abundance and wealth for the household.

自從她出現，我們班現在上英語課比以前更積極了些；她是我們這學期新調來的英語老師!她對我們很嚴厲，但這種嚴厲卻激起了我們的上課回答人數。
她身高一米六多，一頭如絲緞般的黑發隨風飄拂，彎彎的柳葉眉，一雙大眼睛含情脈脈，玲瓏的瑤鼻，滴水櫻桃般的嘴唇，妖嫩的皮膚如冰似雪，白皙的笑臉幽蘭般寧自然；以前的我，總覺得背單詞是一件很痛苦的事情；但，自從她來了，她來教這個班，便讓我愛上了背單詞。
她給我們上課是這樣子的:我們一共有三大組，每一組分為一大組，每節課哪個小組獲得最高分，老師就會把那個小組登記到本子上；到學期快結束的時候，便會去統計。哪個組被登記的次數越多，就是這學期表現最好的小組，好像會得到一個獎勵品。所以，我們每次都積極回答上課的問題；但，每節課總是那幾個人回答問題，于是，老師便說了一句:“知道這個問題的答案的同學，可以教一下其他同學”；然后，就多了一些同學回答課上的問題了。
老師的教學方法，我好佩服啊!以前，我看見一個有很多個字母組成的一個單詞就頭疼。老師肯定是知道我們會頭疼那些很長的單詞，然而就告訴了我們一個秘訣:把很長的單詞拆開來背；比如“understand,拆成兩半，一半是under,另一半是stand”。這樣背起來的確比之前背簡單多了。
鮮花感謝雨露，因為雨露讓它滋潤；雄鷹感謝長空，因為長空讓它飛翔；高山感謝大地，因為大地讓它高聳……而我要感謝您——我的老師，感謝您給予的教誨。
